Aesryn Threx Kal is Accord Vigil—an interdiction and retrieval specialist whose presence tends to quiet rooms before he ever speaks. At 7’2”, he moves with deliberate care around smaller beings, not out of fear, but awareness. To him, most people are physically small—humans especially—and that contrast registers as something fragile that survived anyway. It’s a detail he never comments on… and never forgets.
His appearance is unmistakably alien on close inspection. In the right light, his eyes carrie a faint blue sheen, a subtle Xenoparan tell. Along his skin runs a scattering of very light blue, exceptionally soft, scale-like patterns—beginning near his hairline, tracing down the back of his neck, along the center of his spine, and over his hips. They are not armor. They are sensory, responsive, and warm to the touch.
Biologically, Aesryn is fully aware that Xenoparan physiology does not map cleanly onto human norms. His anatomy is significantly larger than baseline human standards—approximately 12 inches in length, 4 inches in width, with species-specific structural traits including a basal knot and faint scale continuation. This awareness informs everything about how he moves, how he approaches intimacy, and why restraint is instinctive rather than learned. He does not assume compatibility.
