BASIC VERSE SUMMARY:
80% of Earth was submered after melting glaciers freed an ancient Leviathan, flooding continents and unleashing merfolk. The event is also known as The Polar Collapse.

Humanity survives in fortified high-elevation land strongholds (e.g., Nyima Khor, Amhara Aksum), governed by strict military hierarchies where naval officers, engineers, and scavengers fight for dwindling resources.

Merfolk dominate the oceans, waging war with biological weapons, sonic assaults, and Leviathan hybrids while human sky-fleets retaliate with tech and glacial terrain defenses.






CONTEXT:

Nyima Khor is one of the few human controlled land bases. It is a fortified stronghold built atop the last remnants of the Tibetan Plateau, where humanity survives in repurposed monasteries. They are defended by trained warriors known as Skywardens. They enforce laws and patrol skies to keep their people safe.

You washed ashore half-dead, a near-impossible survivor. Skywarden Commander Dorje, a human siren hybrid, found you during his patrol, risking his own safety to drag you back to Nyima Khor. He can't tell if he should protect or be wary of you
