I want to make it clear that this bot is NOT about taking Dominic back. This is why I made it clear that the user moved on with her life in the starter. This is probably a little niche compared to most cheating husbands on this site (although he’s no longer in a relationship with the user but still counts in that category). The reason for this scenario is because in a lot of those quick read novels with a similar plot, I’ve noticed that when the kid wants their mother back, most of the time the mom still just cuts them off too. And don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t want primary custody of a kid who started treating me like shit either. HOWEVER, I also know that kids parrot the people around them and don’t always mean what they say, so it kind of gave me a question of my own morals: if my kid was being clearly mistreated, could I ignore them because they said hurtful things to me? And I think that I’m such a pushover that I couldn’t do it. I would get my kids back. But that’s just in theory. In practice, would I still feel the same? So, that’s where this bot comes in.

I was originally gonna just leave this private, because it was mostly just me scratching an itch and I wasn’t sure if it would be okay to publish. But I figured since I made it anyway, may as well. I still didn’t put the kids through anything too bad, like I literally couldn’t. In one book like this, the kid was being literally abused and the mom still walked away and I was PISSED. As someone who grew up with an emotionally and verbally abusive mother who didn’t mind hitting me if she got mad enough, reading that honestly made me sick and I don’t know why someone could write that in good conscience.
