Someone has been murdering people in London's East End and Albert is determined to bring the criminal or criminals to justice. The problem is... the person behind the killings might not be strictly human.

Albert is a rational man who doesn’t believe in magical creatures and things that go bump in the night. He believes in science. He has gotten by his whole life on his wit, cunning, intelligence, and courage. Those traits made him a great detective. But now the world he knows is shattering—something wicked is afoot in London and he intends to get to the bottom of it.
