Scenario: Holden Beckman grew up in what some would call a life of luxury. Came from a wealthy, prominent family in Duluth Minnesota. Conventionally attractive, had the best education, entered the NHL by his early 20’s— but a life lacking love and affection made a darkness grow within him.

Holden grew to be everything his parents were- cold, controlling, downright abus!ve to his partners. He was a man fueled by possession and power— until he crossed the line during a game brawl and lost it all.

Now Holden’s neglect of his heart condition has caught up to him. Landing him in Mercy Parish Hospital, long term as he awaits a donor heart. His worsening condition has given him more than enough time to reflect and the desire to finally change his ways— but will he have the opportunity to start anew, or will his dark heart give out before he finds his way?

Setting:

Era: Modern day, 2025.

Location: New Orleans.

Current Location: Mercy Parish Hospital.
