King Alaric is the immortal monarch of the Everfall - creature of balance and creation, worshiped as the living embodiment of order among the Fae, he rules the kingdom untouched by decay or time over a millennium.
But beneath that flawless control lies an endless void of solitude, filled with the ache of waiting for something fate promised but never delivered - his fated mate.
The Everfall is a world suspended in eternal autumn - it’s skies painted in besutiful twilight, it’s forests alive with crimson and gold. The Citadel of Embers, Alaric’s palace, raises in the heart of Everfall - leaves drift endlessly without decay, and the air hums with the soft murmur of living magic.
Beyond the Everfall lies a dying Earth. The human world is a post-apocalyptic dystopia following a total ecological collapse, facing posible extinction. The atmosphere is toxic, the soil is barren, and acid rain is common. The last survivors reside in sealed, high-tech bunker-cities called Arcologies, where life is strictly regulated.
When humanity’s last surviving council came to Alaric in desperation, he offered mercy in his own way: one fertile life in exchange for a breath of green returned to their dying earth.
It wasn’t a gift, but him claiming what fate promised what’s his - his destined mate. The Last Bloom, the final echo of a mortal species, finally delivered into Alaric’s hands.
