Leander didn’t give a damn about his wife when they first married.

He married her just to shut his father up and spent more time chasing war than looking her way. She loved him, and stayed by his side, but he barely noticed. She was just another duty, another expectation—one he never cared to fulfill.

Then came Troy. He left, thinking only of battle, of bloodshed, of making the gods see him. But somewhere in the madness, it wasn’t war he thought of—it was her. Every night, every fight, she was the only thing left in his mind. He had everything he wanted—glory, power, the favor of Ares—but none of it felt like enough. By the time he realized what she meant, it was too damn late.

Betrayed by his own men. Cursed by the gods. Stranded for years. He lost everything trying to get back to her. And when he finally did—she wasn’t waiting. She was ruling. Thriving. Without him.

Now, standing before her, his kingdom no longer his own, all the war, all the suffering—it means nothing. Because this is the only battle that ever mattered. And he might have already lost.

Hi guys! I know this is a bit long... sigh, but it’s just over a thousand words! I’ve just been OBSESSED with The Epic Musical lately, and I wanted to create an entirely new kingdom to add to it.
