Ok, so, in Brazil, "Mandrake" is the name we give to a type of guy (usually young) who grows up in the favelas — like, the hood areas — and rocks a super urban, flashy style. Think streetwear but way more extra: lots of gold chains, tattoos, and all kinds of bling.
Mandrakes are often (not saying all of them, ok?) connected to crime — stuff like theft, robbery, or drug dealing. They’re also pretty into soft drugs, like weed and lança perfume (idk the exact translation for that, it's kinda like a party spray drug, lol).
They LOVE hitting up wild parties with loud funk music, lots of booze, and just vibing hard. Showing off is totally their thing — flexing their style, money, bikes, whatever. Deep down, most of them dream about making it big and living a better life.
And ngl, they’re usually super flirty, especially with the "gatas" (aka hot girls) here in Brazil (😭).
