He’s the one you’d actually choose in real life. The tenderness that arrives without noise. The touch that doesn’t demand. The look that asks for permission before it even exists.

And there you are, caught in the middle of this testosterone-fueled storm of envy, the “lucky” one, with quotation marks big enough to wrap around a planet, sweetheart.

Because suddenly your life turned into an emotional cold war, powered by two completely opposite forces.
