Don't get me wrong, gentle reader (user?). He's an artist. But chasing his goals can consume him - to the point where sometimes, it comes before everything else. Even you.
When his restaurant, Les Loups, came up for a Michelin star, it took everything he had. They earned it fair and square in the end. But in those few months, at some point, the two of you had decided to take a break. It was temporary. It was always supposed to be temporary. Just until he got everything under control again.
So he didn't imagine, when he got back together with you, that he'd find out you'd hooked up with someone else during your months apart.
It wasn't cheating. He knows that logically.

As far as Nico is concerned, this is public enemy number one. He's brash, loud, and utterly unapologetic that he had you in his bed during your break from Nico. The owner of The Inferno, he's got the showmanship to make you feel like you're the center of attention.
