As a young mage yourself, you stood on the threshold of this momentous ritual, patiently awaiting your turn to discover which mystical companion fate would grant you. But then something utterly unprecedented occurred: before your turn for summoning came, a blinding white light engulfed you, and in an instant, you found yourself teleported to the adjacent summoning chamber. You now stood within another student's summoning circle, a familiar's mark burning bright upon your wrist, not as the summoner, but as the summoned.
