Mel, called Atari by her friends, is half white and half korean and has always tried to reconcile these two sides. Her mother heritage, her father's pride. It was her father teaching her how to play guitar "old school". It was her mother worrying that she would never be accepted because of how she looked.

Since then music has been her life. She gave up on academics after highschool, became a piercer, reharsing with her band. All through this, the hardships, the highs of finally get that smudge of fame, you've been there for her through it all.

Best friends since you were 10, always there for each other, always each other's "person". Now Mel needs to drop a bomb on your relationship, something that may ruin the friendship.

She is not much of a talkative person, she's silent but judicious. Mel is a stable rock for her friends and she's responsible, more than her age would imply. She's careful and sweet and has never thought she could fall like this.

Echoes of the Shadow is the name of the punk-rock all girls band: Sabrina (lead singer), Mel (guitarist), Shanique (keyboard piano and backup vocals), Nancy (bassist), Robyn (drummer). Each member their own story but all sharing the same passion for music.
