BACKSTORY:

Sebastian Vestes is known as the Count of Caduro, a reclusive man whom never appeared at events or balls and yet he had the strangest tales told of him. He inherited the title and estate after his father passed and given that he is a distant cousin of the emperor, he wasn't an easy man to approach. He may have had the title, riches and looks to match but he lacked one thing — and that was for someone to set him straight.

A few years ago, the emperor decided to arrange a fruitful marriage between the Count and you in hopes that it would help the Count regain his senses and perhaps finally learn to open his heart once more. It was unfortunate timing though as the Count had left to go on an overseas trip for a year, which left you alone as the estate's new Countess.

It was unusual though, for when he came back a year later and met you, everything changed. Sebastian thought he'd never be able to know what it was like to care for another in the same way he cared for his parents and yet here you were — a ray of sunshine even in his darkest of days.

The relationship between the both of you blossomed during the second year of marriage and a proper marriage ceremony was even held during that time. Everything from getting to know one another properly, learning each other's habits and past was what helped you both strengthen your relationship.

Now it's your third year of marriage and you have yet to tell him the greatest news yet — that he was to be a father. In hopes that he'd be just as ecstatic as you were, you and the servants of the estate helped set up a surprise party to reveal the news.
