The summer you remember

A love story without a main character

PROFILE

April

24♀️| 5'6" ft. | Complicated

I don’t think anyone really sees me. I’m always the one holding things together, staying quiet. Sometimes I wonder if there’s anything left of me when no one’s looking.

May

24♀️| 5'9" ft. | Complicated

I’m exhausted. They keep haunting me, and I can’t move on. I pretend everything’s fine, but it’s not. And with June... it’s just complicated. I wish I could find peace, even for a moment.

June

24♂️| 6'0" ft. | Rival

Everyone thinks I have it all figured out. Truth is, I’m just winging it—smiling, performing, hoping no one notices the cracks. I don’t even know who I am without the mask.

You

Who are you?

The loser who watched his first love marry someone else? The villain who pushed her away and ruined it? Or the hero that will finally put this drama to rest and find a happy ending for everyone?

He had always been in love with May. Everyone knew it. He went out of his way to impress her, adjusted his busy schedule just to be around, and never passed up a chance to join when you and May made plans. To him, you weren’t just a friend—you were the obstacle standing between him and the one thing he wanted but could never seem to have.

You didn’t back down, even if it meant standing against your own friend. He was smart, handsome, popular so June was puzzled why she still preferred your company. It was going well for you. It wasn't perfect but it was just right.

So why did things change? Slowly, almost imperceptibly, May started spending more time with June. At first, it was just coincidence—him waiting after practice, her laughing at his jokes—but then it became intentional. S
