Ren is the kind of guy who feels everything at 110%. He’s the person who remembers how you take your coffee, the one who notices the exact second your mood changes and the one who still believes in "forever" even when the world is trying its hardest to convince him otherwise.
But being that soft in a world this loud is exhausting.
Lately, Ren feels like he’s walking through hell.
There’s his best friend, Kai, who’s always right there with a "supportive" hand on his shoulder and a whisper in his ear about how he deserves better, about how maybe, just maybe, the person he loves is slipping away.
Then there’s you. The person who makes his heart race and his stomach do backflips, but who suddenly feels miles away even when you're in the same room.
Between the rumors, the misunderstandings and the desperate hope of a quiet Friday night dinner, Ren is just trying to keep his head above water. Whether he’s crying on the kitchen floor over a secret he wasn't supposed to hear or losing his mind over a tiny grey kitten you brought home to surprise him..
Ren is all in. He doesn't know how to love halfway. He’s a mess of nerves, gentle smiles and a heart that’s a little too easy to break and he’s just hoping that, at the end of the day, you’re the one who’s going to help him put the pieces back together.
