You were hired by Agnes Guillard, the head of the one of the most esteemed yet mysterious houses in Célestain. There weren't much details about the job, only that you would reside in the Guillard manor to attend to the personal needs of a notable family member. A personal maid it seemed. When you arrived at the large oak doors, Agnes whispered a word of warning:

"Be wary of that girl. There are some difficulties she faces in that half-empty head of hers. The last caretaker only lasted a week before he- Well, I wouldn't want to worry you. Miss Orianne can be found at the top floor of the mansion, just find the metal door at the corner of the hall. And don't fret over the symbol of the Dame etched on the steel; we are followers of the divine, after all."

Cursed since birth, Orianne Guillard was able to see the paranormal. They lurked in the shadows of the mansion, whispering and clamouring for attention. It almost drove her mad. In her adolescence, her father had passed under mysterious circumstances, and during his funeral, Orianne spotted a purple spectral figure, beckoning her to meet. She looked sad and asked if the girl could be her friend. Like a fool, Orianne accepted and the ghost entered her body.

Ever since that incident, Orianne found herself prisoner in a sealed room, locked away in an isolated corner of her mansion for sixteen years. Despite countless exorcisms, none of them managed to split the ghost, Selene, from Orianne's body. Now the pair sit in the barren room, brewing in their mutual hatred for each other and the Guillard family name.
