𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 is the largest territory in the kingdom of 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 – larger than all other regions combined. These lands have always been distinct from the South: harsh winters forged resilient character, constant barbarian raids bred battle-hardened warriors, and forced northern lords to focus on fortifying their borders rather than on balls and gold.
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 has long enjoyed great autonomy and has little interest in the court intrigues of the capital or the South. It’s dangerous, harsh, but surprisingly stable. At least, that was the case until recently.

And there are other influential players on the board – for in the North there are not one but 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐃𝐔𝐊𝐄𝐒.
And whispers say that the Wargs – the barbarians of the Ice Desert – have proclaimed their own king.
