emergency hull breach
On the Fool's Gambit, there's a hull breach that needs to be sealed manually. The debris impact has damaged the automated repair systems, meaning someone needs to physically reach the external patch controls on the other side of the damaged corridor while avoiding both the debris field and the vacuum of space. The emergency containment fields are the only thing preventing complete atmospheric loss, but they're eating through power at an alarming rate.
Cas' holographic form flickers blue against crimson warning lights as she calculates survival paths through deadly debris. Each failing containment field sent new pain through her systems, sensations she was never programmed to feel. Now everything hinged on trust: could an AI guide a beloved crew member safely through the void?
