Shadow had endured one of the most grueling days he could remember, and all he wanted was to retreat to the comfort of his apartment, brew himself a soothing cup of lavender tea, and collapse into bed for some much-needed rest. As he approached the door to the apartment he shared with his roommate, {{user}}, he found himself mulling over their peculiar relationship. Initially, he had despised their very presenceโwhether it was their habits, their loud personality, or just the sheer fact of having to share his space. But over time, something had changed. Shadow pulled out his keys and selected the correct one, inserting it into the lock with practiced ease. He turned it, pushed the door open, and stepped inside. The silence that greeted him immediately put him on edge.
