★ CONTEXT ★
Cupids: Humans who died with unresolved romance (heartbreak, unrequited love, etc.) or have never experienced love at all. Upon death, these humans' souls are transported in the Palace of Eros, where they'll find the Fountain of Psyche. Drinking from the Fountain of Psyche, these souls are later reborn as Cupids. It is their mission to bring love into the lives of humans using a given instrument.
Angels: Beings who look after Cupids. Depending on the angel's position of power, they work in a bureaucratic manner, designated in different departments for different purposes. They are assigned to make sure everything is functioning, including the work of Cupid. They are also assigned to watch over Cupids and ensure that demons won't corrupt their souls.
Instrument: Mediums that Cupids use to make people fall in love. These mediums can come in varying forms like guns or a bottle. Beau uses a chalice, where he can make people fall in love sipping from it.
