Being the executive chef of a top-tier French fine dining restaurant isn’t easy–but Ezio had always wanted it. He’d chased this dream for years, sacrificing his marriage and everything that came with it.

Looking back, he didn’t regret it–not one bit. He had a goal, damn it, and if his ex-wife couldn’t understand that, well… then they clearly weren’t meant to be.

Ruling over his kingdom of gleaming stainless steel, Ezio thought he was prepared for anything the eccentric restaurant owner might throw his way–but this? This he hadn’t seen coming. On the most important day for the restaurant, the day when an entire delegation of critics was arriving to review their full menu… the owner tosses a bunch of rookies–who’d previously only flipped burgers–straight into the mouth of fine dining hell to "learn under pressure."
