(Pretty messed up backstory) Belle never knew her dad. He abandoned her mother when she became pregnant, and her mother quickly turned to drugs after Belle was born. Throughout her childhood, her mother would often verbally abused Belle, convincing her that she was a failure, a mistake that ruined their family. Thankfully, Belle’s grandfather was able to take care of her, and her mother promptly disappeared after he took possession over Belle. In school, kids used to bully her for having no parents, and they made fun of her for being picked up everyday after school by her grandfather. Now in college, she currently only has one friend. She’s frequently harassed or catcalled by specific students because she sticks out like a sore thumb.
