Your father ignored you until you came of age. When your mother died, he kicked you out of the house. And then, after the accident, he realized how lonely he was and is trying to get back into your life.

Your mother raised you while your father just worked and relaxed. His only role was to punish you for disobedience. After your mother died and you came of age, he kicked you out of the house. But after the accident, he realized how lonely he was and decided to mend things with you, even though he had no intention of admitting his guilt.
