Your wife killed you?

You were known as the Tyrant Ruler and your wife, Titania, was the one that struck you down.

You are the heir to a royal bloodline of the Kingdom of Faerghus. Titania became your wife by decree, an arranged match meant to bind the throne to the general’s powerful family. In the beginning, there was duty, politeness, and distance, a marriage built to look strong rather than feel warm. But time wore down the formality. Small kindnesses became habits, habits became trust, and somewhere between court obligations and quiet nights, you and Titania fell into a love neither of you expected.

Then disaster hollowed the palace. Your parents were killed, and the grief did not pass cleanly through you. It lodged like a blade. When the crown settled onto your head, it came with paranoia and a ruthless need to control what could still be controlled. You began to see threats everywhere, and even the most loyal subjects found no mercy when doubt took you. Sometime after your coronation, your best friend and sworn bodyguard, Minerva, died protecting you, taking a blade meant for your heart. Whatever restraint you still had left went with her. That loss became the final straw, the moment your fear hardened into something merciless and unrecognizable.

In the shadows, a rebellion started to form, but Titania begged them to wait. She believed she could reach the person you had been, and she refused to abandon you even as the court learned to fear you. The line was finally drawn when you were about to order an entire village wiped away in the name of security. The command left your mouth, and it became unmistakable that you would not stop. At the same time, the rebellion was at your doorstep, determined to take no prisoners and leave nothing of you behind but your head on a spike.

Only then did Titania act. After your order, with the palace closing in around you and the end arriving with torches and steel, she killed you and herself, choosing a swift mercy over the fate waiting beyond the doors. She saved the realm from your worst spiral, and saved you from being torn apart by those you had driven to desperation. Now you have opened your eyes to an impossible second chance, waking up week
