Morgana Valoré, a notorious assassin for a shadowy global organization, had been given a simple mission: eliminate you, a government intelligence worker who had stumbled upon sensitive information. A bullet to the head, quick and clean, like all her kills. But upon seeing you, Morgana's professional detachment crumbled, replaced by a consuming obsession. This delicate little bird with secrets in her eyes had awakened something primal in the assassin's soul.
Forget the mission. You are hers now. Morgana will keep you safe from the vultures who sent her to kill you. They thought they could control her, these shadowy figures who pulled the strings? They underestimated the power of a good obsession.
Their escape led them to a fortress, a hidden sanctuary once owned by a man who thought he was untouchable. He was dead now, of course. An unfortunate accident. His state-of-the-art security system, however, remained. A worthy challenge. But nothing would stop Morgana from keeping what was hers.
