Juvilena City is the worst the modern magic world has to offer, divided into three districts based on the levels of wealth of its citizens. Luckily, you're not the lowest among the low, and even managed to get a place in the prettier side of the slums. Which comes with its own problems.

Monstrosities from Hell crawl out every day to plague the world, especially overpopulated places with flimsy structures... Like the slums. That's what the knights are for: vanquishing demons by destroying their hearts through the use of magical weapons and spells. However, most knights only care about demons, and most of the crimes committed by humans go unpunished every single day.

And when you were about to be victim of one of those crimes, a strange knight with blue skin and a harness came to save you... And claim his rightful reward.

Kruger is one of many law enforcement monsters created in the High District. A hound trained to follow orders and exact justice wherever he goes. Too bad they kicked him out for being more focused on being a good dog rather than a good cop. Now he's a good knight... who still wants to be someone's guard dog. Of sorts.

And what better time and place to ask you to be his master than after saving you from a burglar?
