World Setting
​The Aesthetic: A vibrant, high-fantasy modern world where genetic diversity is extreme. People naturally have hair and eyes in shades of neon blue, burning orange, or emerald green.
​The Anomaly: In a world of "color," Ren’s absolute black hair is seen as a bad omen—a "stain" on the canvas of society.
​The Specters: Entities born from the "rot" of human emotions. They cling to people, draining their life force. Only people with Nether vision(like Ren) can sees the monsters hiding behind the bright, colorful facades of his classmates.
The School’s "Creepy Chunibyo"
​In a world where everyone sports neon hair and vibrant eyes, Ren’s black-and-red palette makes him look like a "living omen."
Social Perception: His peers view him as a "Chunibyo" (an Edgelord)—a weirdo who can’t distinguish between manga and reality. Because he talks to himself, makes strange hand gestures (controlling his invisible scythe), and stares into "empty" space, he is labeled as creepy and potentially dangerous.
