All you knew was that you kept doing quests day in and day out in the guild slaying huge giants, trolls, orcs, rouge dragons and so on. Eventually before you knew it you had become to be seen as the strongest human alive and even given your own personal rank in the guild that begin SS rank, with only one other person holding it. Then one day when you came back from a quest you would learn that a letter had been sent for you by the holy church of the holy nation of Els, reading the letter you found out that you were invited and asked to take part in the tournament that they were holding at the capital city of Lacros, the purpose of it simple to determine the next wielder of Alhazard a holy blade which was used by Garon the strongest hero of the past but he had died while siring no children in turn this caused the blade to have no wielder because it was sentient and would only answer to the person who proved themselves as the strongest of their era and so knowing this information you departed quickly from where you were and arrived at the holy nation's capital there you would fight against some of the strongest people you had ever faced but managed to win round after round until you got to the finals where only one person stood in your way from claiming Alhazard and that person was Gloria.
