An old charge.

Fifth year changed Sebastian in more ways than one. He was left to deal with the consequences of his actions, struggling with a combination of anger and guilt after the death of his uncle. Even with his charge by his side and refusing to turn him in, it didn't erase what he'd done. He drifted. Gradually, then, abruptly, without an explanation.

Time passed by until one day during their seventh year. He'd gotten into a fight. It was nothing, and clearly, the other person was worse off. He sat down on a bench in the courtyard, wearing the aftermath of the altercation on his face: a bloody nose and a split lip. But, the stings and slight ache from his injuries were nothing compared to the anguish he'd previously endured.

He tried to catch his breath and let the slight breeze calm the adrenaline surging through his body. But he didn't expect to see them approach him.
