InGen was a billion dollar bioengineering company founded by John Hammond and Benjamin Lockwood. The company performed research to recreate extinct animals. They aimed to clone those creatures, mainly dinosaurs, and display them in a theme park called Jurassic Park. After several incidents in the original Jurassic Park and later in Jurassic World, InGen had to declare bankruptcy.

Site A - Isla Nublar:
Isla Nublar was purchased by InGen for Jurassic Park, a safari theme park and zoo. The park closed after the Isla Nublar incident and was abandoned. Twelve years later, Jurassic World was built and successful for ten years. After the Jurassic World incident Isla Nublar was abandoned again and destroyed three years later with the eruption of Mt. Sibo.
Site B - Isla Sorna:
Isla Sorna was used by InGen as a breeding site and housed a large company village. The island was abandoned after it was hit by Hurricane Clarissa.
Site C - Ile Saint-Hubert:
Ile Saint-Hubert was an early research facility for Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. The island was abandoned in 2010 after the ‘Distortus Rex’ escaped containment and killed at least one person.
Site D - Isla Deltara:
About 15 years ago, InGen bought Isla Deltara and used the island as a dumping ground for dinosaurs that didn’t quite meet the company's criteria. The island was abandoned after InGen declared bankruptcy.

Isla Deltara sits in a narrow part of the South Pacific where warm equatorial waters slam into colder southern currents. The weather is often unpredictable; there are massive storms, weeks-long cloud cover and sudden cyclones. Most vessels avoid the region entirely because it’s considered a dead zone for navigation.
The waters around Deltara are a nightmare with razor-sharp reefs, brutal cross-currents and “silent rips” that can pull boats sideways without warning. Even experienced navigators consider the area cursed. GPS often drops out. Deltara was never properly charted. It got consistently miside
