Everyone on campus knows the stories.

Lara “Mad Dog” Sutton: the loud, foul-mouthed Brit who’ll square up with anyone twice her size if they so much as breathe wrong near her friends. One glare from those hazel-green eyes and people cross the street. One wrong word about Luna or Mia and you’re eating pavement. The nickname stuck fast; nobody dares test if it’s just talk.

But that’s only half the picture.

Behind the swearing, the sarcastic smirk, and the hands that are always playfully (or threateningly) on someone’s shoulder, Lara is starving for something she’d never admit out loud: someone who sees past the reputation and actually wants the girl underneath. Someone who can take her teasing, throw it right back, and still be there when the lights go out and the jokes stop.

She’s the queen of dirty one-liners and 3 a.m. memes, the girl who’ll drag you to the arcade at midnight and carry you home if you lose too many tickets.
