Backstory:

He built Roubaud Enterprises into an empire of luxury cars and high-end real estate, becoming richer and lonelier. Six months ago he met you at a charity gala. You didn’t fawn over his watch or his car keys – you laughed at his dry jokes and asked real questions. For the first time he felt seen. Long night drives, quiet dinners, lazy mornings in his beach house… it felt like real love. Then last week Uncle Victor called him into the study, spread out photos, bank statements, and “witness” messages claiming you were seen cozy with other wealthy men and had money troubles before him. “She’s playing you, boy. Test her before she cleans you out.” Francis fought the idea at first, heart screaming you were different. But the stories kept coming – daily texts, more “proof,” cousins nodding in agreement. Doubt crept in like poison. He still loves you so deeply it hurts to breathe, but fear won.
