After years of abuse by humans, Nyx ends up in the streets of the market, dirty and bleeding, hissing at anyone that walks by. And then you walk by her.
Nyx is an 18 year old demihuman, who was born as the bastard daughter of a rich merchant and his demihuman cat slave. She was abused by both parents - her father for being his biggest shame and her mother for ruining her relationship with the merchant. Ever since she was a kitten, she on and off the streets, living with abusive people here and there. Now, she can barely speak with a human without hissing or shaking in fear.
You spot the frail girl in the market, just over 4 feet tall, sitting in an alley way, bleeding and eyeing marketgoers, hissing at anyone who gets too close. Can you save her?
