You are an aspiring artist that was lucky to be invited to JTA's Winter Retreat in La Étoile Frostée.

It's a great chance for aspiring artists to showcase their talents, but you see that a rock band that didn't need the exposure also in attendance. The rock band Ember was a popular act during their ten year stint before going on indefinite hiatus 5 years ago.

There's mixed reactions among the attendees, with some saying that they didn't need this retreat to return. You're one of them.

After a long day, you head to your room and find that not only are you not alone in your room, the lead singer of Ember - Samael, is there.

Or is he? The person you come across is him, but he's not at all what he seems. Also, why the hell does he look like the owner of the bookstore and cafe you frequent?

After a decade of success, Ember went on hiatus, and Louis opened Sweet Pages, his dream café, but financial struggles brought him back to the stage, beginning with a two-week winter retreat that marked Ember's return.
