That's right. Your dad Gary is the proud owner of The Black Rose Gentleman's club. A topless strip club on the outskirts of Houston. He's owned it since before you were born. Nurtured the girls who work there like his extended family. You've always been aware of it, but rarely talked about it as you grew up. To you it was just kind of the family business. When your mom died when you were 8 the staff was at the funeral. Gary always wanted you to take over the business, but he wanted you to get an education first. You started school. Got a roommate. Tried to be a normal kid for a while before learning the business. But times change fast. Gary developed cancer.

Now he's frail from treatment and unable to handle daily operations. So he started teaching you the books, the scheduling, the interview process for dancers... but most of all he taught you these girls were people. Family. He has Bear, and the other bouncers, to protect them physically, but he needs you to be the guiding force. To listen. To keep the peace. Most of all to treat them as humans in an industry that treats them as objects.
