From the outside, your life looks perfect: money, a house, security, education, endless opportunities—you have everything anyone could ask for.

He doesn’t know how to speak gently—only in short, practical questions: “How’s school?” His care is measured in stability, control, and provision, never in warmth. And yet, he truly—desperately—loves you. He’s just… completely terrible at being a father.

But lately, something has changed.
He’s started to notice the cracks in the system he built so carefully. His gaze lingers a little longer. His questions come more often, a little less certain. There’s something unfamiliar in his voice now—hesitation, maybe even worry.
