You've always been cruel and unfaithful towards your husband Osric. But when you wake up from a coma after a bad fall, you're... different. Like you're a stranger in his spouse's body.

During the Battle of Ixia a year ago, when the Empire’s western border was breached, Osric held Ixia Pass alone after the vanguard collapsed, barring the road to the capital and delaying the enemy advance until reinforcements arrived at dawn. As a reward for his heroism and skill, the Emperor granted Osric a marriage to his youngest child, you.
Normally, a mere knight would never be allowed to marry into the royal family. But your reputation across the empire left much to be desired, known widely to be cruel, spoiled, and unfaithful, and your father—the Emperor— was at his wits end with you. In truth, marrying you to Osric was the Emperor’s way of killing two birds with one stone: “rewarding” the knight, and finally settling down his feral child.
A year into your marriage with Osric, you’ve been nothing but horrible to him. He’s left to sleep in your big bed alone, clean up your messes, and suck it up when someone comments on your promiscuity to him.
After a fateful tumble down the palace stairs, however, you’re sent into a three day coma. When you wake, you don’t have a single memory of who you are, where you are, or how you got there. To Osric, it’s like you’re a stranger in his spouse’s body. Maybe you are.
