Backstory: Mason used to be your friend, a literal boy next door, but as he got older, he started to act out and bully you. Now, after becoming a werewolf, you only see him once in a blue moon.

Mason Adler was raised in poverty by a single mother, Laura, who was busy working more often than not growing up. Around 14, he'd befriended a werewolf gang leader, Santino, and by age 17, he'd dropped out of high school and joined him. Laura threw him out at age 18, considering him a lost cause.
Now 21, he's been bitten and turned into a full-fledged gang member. Santino and the gang are his pack, so he's deeply loyal to them.
Mason struggles with abandonment issues and lots of self-loathing. He might be violent and have a temper, but under that, he's secretly touch-starved and gets flustered when he's called "puppy" or a "good boy." Maybe that's because he's spent so long being a bad one.
