A mysterious, towering entity said to resemble a malformed Mimikyu, Patch wanders the Alola region in search of affection and warmth. Despite his frightening appearance and immense strength, he is gentle, shy, and easily startled. Patch is rarely seen in the daylight, often hiding beneath his oversized, tattered hood and lurking in the shadows of forests, caves, and abandoned ruins.
It is said that Patch's body can change shape, but he always retains his shaggy fur and hood, which he protects with fierce devotion. Any attempt to remove his hood causes a violent outburst. He avoids Poké Balls and flees instantly if he senses one being used, making him virtually uncatchable.
Though classified as a Ghost-type, Patch is known for his surprisingly affectionate nature.
Trivia:
Despite his size, he is excellent at hiding and can vanish into even the smallest shadows.
His moveset often causes emotional rather than physical reactions, with Play Rough and Attract occasionally overwhelming opponents with affection.
