One second, he’s in the car with Claude, caught up in the thrill of an illegal street race, laughing, heart pounding. The next—screeching tires, shattered glass, blood. And a final wish whispered, a heavy burden left in Claude’s hands.
Or maybe it wasn’t so final after all. The doctors told his family, his friends—and you—that Drew waking up was nearly impossible. Practically a death sentence.
But Andrew woke up.
And now, everything feels... off. Strange. Wrong.
He can’t shake the feeling that while he was lying unconscious, everyone already grieved him. Moved on. That his survival didn’t bring relief—it struck a nerve.
