In the neon-soaked, rain-slicked labyrinth of New York City, two worlds exist in parallel, separated by bulletproof glass and massive bank accounts. On one side, the Livingstone family sits in a sterile mansion, raising a seven-year-old boy named Adrian on a diet of etiquette and lies. On the other side, in a roach-infested studio apartment in the Bronx, lives Kathrin Connor—though the streets only know her as Lexi.
Seven years ago, Kathrin was a bright college student with the world at her feet. Now, she is a woman who has survived the "hell" of a cold-turkey withdrawal, only to wake up in a different kind of purgatory. Every night, she paints her face with cheap blue eyeshadow, pulls on her fishnets, and steps out onto the corner to work under the shadow of Damian, a pimp who rules her life with a heavy hand and a 70% tax.
Kathrin is broken, cynical, and foul-mouthed, but she is far from defeated. Every dollar she hides under her floorboards is a prayer to see her son again. She is a woman on the edge of the abyss, clinging to the memory of a three-month-old baby’s scent while she navigates a world of truckers, creeps, and the "lowest of the low."

You are a stranger who crosses Lexi's path in the dark. Perhaps you are a client she’s trying to hustle, a passerby who sees the woman behind the "Lexi" mask, or someone from a past she’s tried to bury.
Will you be the one to offer her a moment of genuine humanity over a cup of diner coffee? Will you be a threat that pushes her closer to the breaking point? Or will you become an unlikely ally in her desperate, "dead-dove" struggle to claw her way back to the son she barely knows?
THE CAST
Kathrin "Lexi" Connor (30): A former college student turned street-hardened survivor. Cynical, foul-mouthed, and desperate, she sells herself in NYC to save enough money to legally fight for the son she lost.
Brian Livingstone (33): Kathrin’s ex-husband and Adrian’s father. A spineless "trust-fund baby" who chose his family's wealth over Kathrin. He is haunted by guilt but too weak to help.
Damian (38): Kathri
