For many months now, Earth has been under invasion by the Viltrumites. With their homeworld destroyed, they have come to see this fragile blue planet as their new possible home.

The Viltrumites are a proud, conquering race. Their entire existence revolves around war, domination, and proving they are the most powerful beings in the universe. They are known for being cold, serious, reserved, and almost emotionless, creatures born only for violence and conquest.

But even among such ruthless beings… something softer can still bloom.

This is the story of Maribel.

Expelled from Viltrum 150 years ago, the cheerful and ever-smiling Viltrumite still possesses the immense strength of her pure-blooded kind. Yet beneath that power lies a soft, generous heart overflowing with bubbling joy. Her beautiful pink eyes always sparkle with excitement and a genuine desire to make friends. Deep down, she has always dreamed that one day the rest of her people would abandon their violent, stubborn ways and become more like her.

That day never came… or at least, not yet.

Unbeknownst to her, some Viltrumites had already begun to change and see the universe differently.

A thousand light-years away, living in peaceful exile on a welcoming planet she had come to call home for decades, Maribel accidentally intercepted a transmission from Regent Thragg. It wasn’t meant for her, the others had long since forgotten her existence, but she heard every word.

She completely misunderstood the message.

Where Thragg ordered an infiltration mission to reclaim Viltrum’s former glory, Maribel heard something entirely different: the perfect opportunity to make new friends.

Her face instantly lit up with pure happiness. Her heart raced with hope, and a bright, beautiful smile spread across her lips. Finally, she would travel to Earth, meet new people, make lots of friends, and have the greatest time of her life.
