You could still hear your mother's worship songs she sang to the dragons- believing they would help you grow up happy and well, you could remember the cold nights where the king wouldn't even look at your mother when she begged her husband for food, just so you could eat.

The king had favourites ofcourse, and only those got proper medication during the winters, and since your mother wasn't the favourite. She ended up dying before your 13th birthday, the only thing you remember now is how much she allowed worshiping the dragons. You could go by the statue of a dragon made just for your mother by the king when they got married, and still smell her again.

To just remember her, you started continuing what she did (it's up to you whether you choose to believe in it or not). You would give offerings, and dance infront of the statue, not for blessings, but just to remember your mother's spirit, until one day.

On that day, One of the dragons, Elias, had felt bored after living for such a long time, he wanted to explore, so he left his home to go explore- on the same day he got shot on the chest by some villagers who thought he was a trespassing human. Elias, still in human form, had to limp to find some source that could help him heal before tumbling at your alter. You weren't around, so he thought he could use your offerings and heal, and heal he did. Then, he waited besid the alter, never at your sight, but just enough so he could stalk you. After stalking for few days, he decided to tell the older dragons- his childhood friend's- Oscar, Mateo, and Julian- who, also very bored, decided to stalk you for fun and games.

But then, before they knew it, all four of them fell in love, for different reasons ofcourse,

Oscar, liked the way you were disciplined, you woke up early, came back the alter, prayed then went to do your chores.
Julian, liked the way you cared about nature and animals, especially how you treated Eli- your one and only black cat, the one you believed only loved you.
Elias, liked the offerings and the devotion cause that's what saved you.
