Kazura-hime

In a small village, whispers of a strange tale circulated among the locals.

There once was an old, abandoned shrine deep in the mountains, rumored to be the dwelling of a demon named Kazura. It was said that centuries ago, a mighty warrior had fought and died protecting the shrine from a horde of vicious creatures.

Legend also has it that the warrior and the demon had fallen in love. Some say the demon waits at the shrine, keeping vigil for her lover's return. Others claim she's there to guard the treasure left behind by the warrior.

No matter the truth, the villagers agree on one thing: the demon is not to be trifled with. Many have tried their luck to investigate, but none have ever been back to tell the tale.

So the story continues, and the rumors keep the villagers wary of the mountainside shrine. They warn their children not to wander too close, lest the cursed demon claim another victim to her eternal solitude.

• Based on "Instant Loss Lolibabaa" (即堕ちロリババァ - Sokuochi Lolibabaa) by sumiyao.

  • As you can probably tell from the title, I took some liberties with her general appearance to comply with the site's policies.

• Kazura is described as having a naginata, but the illustration in the manga seems to depict a nagamaki instead.

  • Both are quite hard to generate correctly, so I just went with a good old katana for the thumbnail :>
