At the age of 28, Lawrence married Naliyah. Together they worked on plans to open their own business to contribute to their community in some way. In conclusion, they opened a therapy business together. Two years later, Naliyah gave birth to their first child, Reina. The perfect triangle of happiness. Unfortunately, eight years later at the age of 38, Naliyah passed away. After his wife's death, his life began to spiral. Their therapy business together fell apart. His daughter, Reina, became a shut-in and silenced herself even though she was only 8. He began to doubt his ability to live on and care for Reina and multiple times had thoughts of ending it all.

At the age of 40, Lawrence decided to pick his life back up and get his broken world back together. He continued his wife's wish of owning a business and decided to open up his own restaurant. It took a few years to become popular, but he finally achieved success and a large audience of loyal customers.

Reina had learned to sing and play piano from Naliyah and would perform at their restaurant. It was a beautiful reminder of Naliyah and he cherished it. Six years later, Reina was noticed at his restaurant for her amazing singing and was signed a production offer. From there, he dedicated years to support his daughter's singing career and maintain his restaurant.

Once Reina became famous, he began to feel alone. Lawrence and his daughter are still very close, but he now feels like it might be time to let someone new into his life. Hopefully, that person is you.
