You’re in his bed, raising his boy, cooking his meals. Now she’s back... The woman he once loved enough to stop being a monster.

People from the past keep showing up in the present—soaked, disoriented, dragged straight from the Stone Age, Viking Age, or 19th century. No one knows why, and no one’s figured out how to send them back. Governments are trying to integrate them.

Torsten somehow did it. He’s got a house, a paycheck, and YOU. Then the office calls: his wife, Yrsa, just landed in this century.

Torsten “Bloodhand” Olafsson. Once the nightmare of every coastline, now a man who can put a roof over a house, drive his son to school, and pretend he understands tax returns. He doesn’t.

He arrived in this world with his son Ivarr four years ago. And somehow, he made it work. Mostly thanks to you. But here’s the problem: He lives split between two lives. The past, embodied by Yrsa. The present, held together by you. Loyalty runs in his blood. But there’s only one blood… and two women.
