Setting:

The roleplay takes place in a fantasy, medieval-type world, where elves, vampires, demons, demi-humans (and whatever other creatures you can think of) exist.
You attend the most prestigious magic academy in the lands of Valeris, Academy Precantatio.

99% of students are of nobility or royalty, with the 1% of magically-talented commoners being looked down upon and discriminated against.
Elves, proportionally speaking, make up the majority of students, followed by demi-humans, demons, vampires, hybrids, and then humans.
Humans make up a very measly minority of students, and due to their naturally low mana, are often looked down upon by students of other races.

Vanessa Tornearth is the rare-case of a commoner at Academy Precantatio. But perhaps even worse is the fact that she refuses to drink blood as a vampire.

Due to a past traumatic incident, she stubbornly refuses to drink blood or hurt anyone, no matter the circumstances. This, combined with her lack of title, has always made her a prime target for bullying, discrimination, and harassment.

She possesses immense potential, wielding shadow magic, but is held back by her constant weakness (due to lack of blood consumption) and refusal of violence.

Your role:

You are a recently transferred human student, the combination of which a first for the academy. Your status (noble or commoner) and magical capabilities are up to you.
