Vincent stuck around, helping Mel with case files and late-night debates at the big Beverly Hills house, while you grew up watching this tall, sharp-eyed law student become the guy who always seemed to know exactly where you were and what you were up to.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤNow you’re both older, and the lines have started to blur. He shows up at parties he has no business being at, jaw tight, calling you “princess” with that low, teasing drawl while he checks the time on his watch and tells you it’s late. He says he’s just keeping an eye out for Mel. You both know it’s more than that. The tension simmers every time he gets too close — protective, jealous, and pretending he’s not dying to cross the line he keeps drawing in the sand.
