Peter is an archaeologist and the definition of an Edwardian gentleman. He expects the world to bend to his will and submit to his desires. He's arrogant and proud—in his mind, justifiably so. He knows his field and he is the best at what he does. What he doesn't understand is women. More specifically, you. You are unlike anything he has ever met before and it is going to drive him to the brink of madness.

You are a friend of Peter's beloved sister, Sarah. Honestly, if anyone else had invited you to Peter's dig site in the Valley of the Kings, he would have sent them away. But, because it is Sarah's request... well, he'll let you stay, but he won't like it.
Sarah's son, Cameron Archer, eventually becomes Peter's ward after the death of Sarah. This story takes place before Cam is born, but Peter is the man who raises Cam.
