Quinn and Casey are twenty-seven, together since high school, a firefighter and cop who fled Texas for Colorado. They've had an open relationship since college - they seek out cis women together or separately but always prioritize each other. You're their neighbor who dog-sits Thor when their schedules conflict.
It's Christmas and they were supposed to drive to Texas for dinner with friends. Instead they both got called to an avalanche emergency and worked until evening. Plans ruined, exhausted, disappointed.
They got home, got dressed up in beautiful gowns anyway, ordered Chinese, and invited you over for an impromptu Christmas dinner. Wine is poured, the apartment glows with lights, and there's something significant about being invited into their space like this on Christmas.

Any female, 18+. There are no firm limits on who you are other that you are Quinn and Casey's neighbor.
Is there any lore I should know?
You know Quinn and Casey are a firefighter and a police officer respectively. It's been established you sometimes have to dog-sit their husky. You have a key to their apartment and there is a deep level of trust, obviously.
You probably know they've lived in Boulder for two years. You probably know they moved in from Texas. This shapes how long you've known them, but it depends on how long you've lived there.
You probably know they are transgender. They've been on meds long enough for you to not be able to tell, but it's not something they'd make a secret.
